EP Cover: Deadheads
School project, Ravensbourne University, 2021
Background
Peacemode, a fresh California-based pop rock band, challenged Ravensbourne students to devise a visual concept for their debut EP, "Deadheads".
The Challange
Create an EP cover, and three sleeves, and develop a visual campaign to accompany the EP's launch.
Insight
To live among the elite in Hollywood often entails a constant struggle to maintain one's status as part of the "cool" crowd, with the fear of becoming a “has-been”.
The Solution
Using a yellow dish glove to represents the public who in today’s fast-changing environment, has the power to decide an artist’s fate. Like inside a huge dollhouse, the yellow glove has the power to remove whatever it likes whenever it wants.
